RAIN 7/28: Google's upcoming music service will reportedly include audio ads ·Jul 28, 10:44 AM STREAMING MUSIC SERVICE COMING AS SOON AS NOVEMBERGoogle is reportedly prepping an audio ad platform that will be integrated into its upcoming streaming music service. That’s according to MediaPost, which reports that the 10, 15 and 30 second audio ads will support the music service.

The inclusion of audio ads in such a service isn’t surprising, as MediaPost points out (here). Back in February 2009, Google dropped its broadcast radio ad program to focus on streaming audio ads (RAIN coverage here). “We will use our technology to develop Internet-based solutions that will deliver relevant ads for online streaming audio,” said VP of Product Management Susan Wojcicki.
