The rooftop of Davis Wright Tremaine — the law firm of industry attorney and frequent RAIN source David Oxenford — are mere blocks from the White House. Specifically, the RAIN Summit East Cocktail Party will be held at 1919 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, in Washington D.C. from 6pm to 8pm. All RAIN Summit East attendees are invited to the party. Apparently thousands of artists’ merchandise is available through the deal (“Is there a Yo-Yo Ma-inspired hoodie?” App Scout asks), and artists get a portion of the sales. 1.FM SIGNS UP FOR JETCAST’S LOYALTY PROGRAMJetcast has announced it has signed up Energy Group Radio — the operator of 1.FM — for Jetcast’s RadioLoyalty Internet radio loyalty program. The service is basically a listener loyalty program in which a webcaster’s listeners earn points for tuning in, using apps, sharing via social media, and referring friends to the station.
