RAIN SUMMITTo accommodate those webcasters and broadcasters still working on their submissions, we’re extending the nomination deadline for the RAIN Internet Radio Awards to Tuesday, August 31. If you haven’t yet done so, we’d like to encourage you to take advantage of the extension and nominate your service here.
The RAIN Internet Radio Awards will recognize the efforts of online radio services in 3 categories: 1) Best Overall Online Radio Service. This category will award the station or webcaster that provides the best overall online listener experience. 2) Best Streaming Broadcast Station, which will highlight the single broadcast station that has executed the best streaming strategy. 3) Best Overall Digital Strategy. This award will go to the broadcast station, broadcast group, or online-only webcaster that has implemented the finest overall digital strategy. A panel of judges will decide the winner in each category. The Awards will be presented at RAIN Summit East on September 28 in Washington D.C. The Summit is an official co-located event of the Radio Show produced by RAB and NAB. Find out more about RAIN Summit East and register to attend right here. Please note that there is a $19 fee per entry and that AccuRadio and its related brands will not be eligible to compete. Additionally, only U.S. services are eligible.
