RAIN 1/17: In UK, Sony and UMG to make new music available to buy as soon as it's on the air
LABELS HOPE TO COMBAT FILE-SHARING OF ‘LEAKED’ MUSIC NOT YET IN STORESThe world’s two largest record label groups, Sony Music and Universal Music Group, in an effort to combat file-sharing, will make music available (in the UK, to start) for sale as soon as it’s available for airplay.
