RAIN 1/26: Two important SoundExchange deadlines approaching
ATTORNEY OXENFORD REMINDS WEBCASTERS WITH STREAMING DEALS OF 2 IMPORTANT DATESTwo deadlines for webcasters are approaching on January 31. Industry attorney David Oxenford writes on his Broadcast Law Blog that SoundExchange minimum fee obligations are due from all webcasters by January 31.
Meanwhile, webcasters included in many royalty settlement agreements must file an election notice with SoundExchange by January 31. Oxenford has details on each deadline here.
“THE OFFICE” STAFF TRIES THEIR HAND AT PODCASTINGNBC television show “The Office” has created a series of web-only short episodes in which several characters work together to produce an office podcast.
