The Summit takes place during the 36th annual Conclave Learning Conference in Minneapolis.

Abrams was a panelist at RAIN Summit West in Las Vegas this past April (more coverage here). Four large broadcast groups are prepping to begin rolling out their own take on the feature next month, working with streaming media company AccuRadio…Unlike Pandora that allows users to build channels off a particular song or artist, the AccuRadio version will be based on formats.”

ARCHOS DEBUTS NEW ANDROID-POWERED WEB RADIOArchos yesterday launched a new Android-powered portable web radio. The device, dubbed 35 Home Connect, sports Wi-Fi, a touchscreen and comes with TuneIn Radio’s Android app pre-installed to stream Internet radio. It will be available in September for $150.
Unlike other tabletop media devices like the Chumby or Sony Dash, the 35 Home Connect is battery-powered, making it a “web radio that should do wonders by your bedside, or kickin’ it on the beach,” as Engadget writes (here). If your local beach has a Wi-Fi hotspot, that is.
