Cumulus to move Atlanta alternative format to Net

From the Atlanta Business Chronicle: Q100’s (100.5 WWWQ-FM) The Bert Show is moving lower on the radio dial to a higher frequency, while Atlanta’s alternative/new rock station is headed for the Internet.

The popular morning show will move to 99.7 (WNNX-FM) on Jan. 25. At the same time, 99X will switch to a completely online radio format for more of a global reach…

A new format will launch at the 100.5 frequency later this month…

Atlanta-based Cumulus Media Inc. owns both stations.
