Enjoy great online radio at AccuRadio

You can get instant notifications when we publish each day’s issue of RAIN (and get a “Twitter-sized” preview of the issue) by “following” us on Twitter.com (go to twitter.com/raintwitter). The notifications can even be sent as text messages to your phone! We’re still evaluating whether the tool will be useful for RAIN readers and us. For now, we’ll simply twitter as we publish each day’s issue, but we may eventually use it for late-breaking stories, additional content, and/or a discussion forum. We’d certainly like to hear your ideas. And finally, you can still get our daily issue preview via e-mail (if you don’t receive it and would like to, look for the form near the bottom of the right-hand column with the olive-colored tab).

1. Since you asked.

   I’d suggest NOT simply using Twitter to re-publish links from your blog postings.

   That’s clutter.

   Instead try to see what Twitter really is and how you can bring value to it. Twitter is best when it’s personal. It’s a give and take – not a post & comment type medium like blogs.

   I might be interested in following Kurt – or you personally – but not following “RAIN” – I have a feed reader for that.
